- Adjust the backrest and foot section using the manual controls; the synchronised mechanism and gas struts provide smooth movement between upright and reclined positions.
- Set the chair to a comfortable seated position for routine phlebotomy and adjust the phlebotomy arms for patient forearm support, ensuring arm height and angle promote vein access without strain.
- In the event of patient light-headedness or fainting, lower the backrest promptly into the head-down recovery position as specified in the user manual, then monitor the patient according to local clinical protocols.
- After use, return the chair to its standard seated position and reset the arm supports as appropriate.
