Description

The Patient Table for 511 is a sturdy, removable work table designed specifically for use with the Plinth Medical Model 511 tilt table and other compatible tilt tables. Constructed from powder-coated steel tube and featuring a solid tray area with a secure lipped edge, it provides a stable surface for patient activities, assessments or therapy tasks while the patient is supported on the tilt table. The table is available in fixed and tilting versions and integrates seamlessly with the 511 system to enhance rehabilitation and treatment options in clinical environments.

Usage

Install the patient table on the designated mounting points of the Plinth Medical Model 511 or compatible tilt table according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Ensure the table is securely locked in place before positioning the patient or placing any items on the tray surface.
Position the table at a comfortable height and orientation for the patient, using the fixed or tilting configuration supplied.
Use the tray area to support light equipment, paperwork, therapy tools or patient belongings as required, keeping overall load within the limits specified by the manufacturer.
Remove the table when not required by releasing the mounting mechanism and lifting the table clear of the tilt table, taking care to support its weight during removal.
Clean the table regularly with appropriate detergent or disinfectant compatible with powder-coated metal surfaces, following local infection prevention protocols.
Inspect mounting points, fixings and tray integrity routinely; do not use the table if there is visible damage, looseness or instability.

Contraindications

Do not use the patient table as a primary support surface for bodyweight (e.g. do not sit, stand or lean heavily on the tray).
Not intended for use with non-compatible couch or tilt table systems that do not have approved mounting points for this accessory.
Do not exceed the manufacturer’s recommended load for the tray surface.
Do not use if the table, mounting hardware or tilt table structure is visibly damaged or unstable.

Adverse Effects

Risk of minor injury (e.g. pinch or impact) if fingers or limbs are placed near mounting or moving parts during installation or removal.
Risk of items falling from the tray and causing injury or equipment damage if the tray is overloaded or used without regard to the lipped edge limits.

Storage Conditions

Store in a clean, dry clinical environment when not mounted on the tilt table.
Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture or corrosive cleaning agents that could damage the powder-coated finish.
When detached, place the table on a stable surface to prevent accidental falls or damage to the tray edge or mounting brackets.
