Description

The GS777 Integrated Wall System, PanOptic, MacroView for CSM UK is a Welch Allyn Green Series 777 integrated wall system configured for use with the Connex Spot Monitor (CSM) or Spot Vital Signs 4400 device. This configuration (777-PM2WCX-4) combines the energy-efficient Green Series 777 wall transformer with a PanOptic Basic LED Ophthalmoscope, a MacroView Basic LED Otoscope and an ear specula dispenser. The CSM or Spot vital signs device is mounted alongside (sold separately), allowing standardised physical examination and vital signs capture from a single wall-mounted station.

Usage

Have the system installed on a suitable wall surface by qualified personnel, following the manufacturer’s installation instructions and local electrical/healthcare facility requirements.
Mount the Green Series 777 wall transformer, ear specula dispenser and monitor bracket as specified; ensure mains power connection is properly wired and tested.
Attach the PanOptic Basic LED Ophthalmoscope and MacroView Basic LED Otoscope to the 3.5 V handles and coiled cords on the wall transformer.
If using a Connex Spot Monitor or Spot Vital Signs 4400, mount the device to the provided bracket and connect any required power or network cables according to its user manual.
To perform an exam, lift an instrument handle from the cradle; the automatic sensor will power the instrument on and illumination can be adjusted using the handle-based rheostat.
Use the MacroView Basic LED Otoscope with appropriate disposable ear specula from the dispenser, following standard otoscopy technique and infection control procedures.
Use the PanOptic Basic LED Ophthalmoscope according to manufacturer guidance for fundoscopy, focusing on the patient’s fundus as required.
