Usage

Before first use, inspect the stethoscope for any visible damage and ensure eartips are securely attached.
Insert the eartips into the ear canals so they point slightly forward, aligning with the direction of the ear canal for an effective acoustic seal.
Rotate the binaurals as needed to achieve a comfortable, secure fit while maintaining an airtight seal from the comfort sealing eartips.
Select the desired side of the chestpiece (diaphragm for higher-frequency sounds; bell for lower-frequency sounds) by rotating the chestpiece until it clicks into position.
Place the chosen side of the chestpiece firmly but comfortably on the patient’s chest or other auscultation site, ensuring good skin contact and avoiding placement over clothing where possible.
For pediatric patients, use appropriate pressure and position the chestpiece to minimise discomfort and encourage cooperation.
For blood pressure measurement, position the chestpiece over the brachial artery while inflating and deflating the cuff to detect Korotkoff sounds.
