Description

The 12V 2A PSU Plug-top Transformer for Wall, Rail, and Desk Lamp is a replacement plug-top power supply unit designed specifically for DARAY examination and bed-head lights. It provides a 12 V, 2 A low-voltage supply via a 1.8 m white cable and is compatible with the wall, rail and desk-mounted versions of DARAY X100, X200, X240, X700, X740 and BH200 models. Supplied as a single plug-top PSU, it allows quick replacement of a failed or damaged power supply without changing the lamp itself, ensuring reliable, consistent illumination in clinical environments.

Usage

Ensure the PSU is only used with compatible DARAY lamp models: wall, rail and desk versions of X100, X200, X240, X700, X740 and BH200.
Disconnect the existing power supply from the mains and from the lamp before replacement.
Connect the low-voltage plug from the new PSU into the lamp’s power input socket, ensuring a secure fit.
Plug the PSU into an appropriate mains socket as specified in the lamp/PSU documentation and switch on the supply.
Route the 1.8 m cable safely to avoid trip hazards, strain on the connector or damage from moving furniture and equipment.
Do not use the unit if the cable, housing or plug is visibly damaged; replace immediately if damage is observed.
