Description

The Koolpak Ice Bag & Neoprene Wrap (20.5cm x 75.5cm) is a reusable cold therapy system that combines a traditional fabric ice bag with an adjustable neoprene compression wrap. The ice bag moulds around the injured area to provide fast, effective cold therapy for soft tissue injuries, bruises, muscle pain and swelling, while the neoprene wrap holds the bag securely in place and delivers consistent compression around joints and muscle groups such as the knee, ankle, thigh or shoulder.

Usage

Unscrew the cap of the ice bag and fill it to an appropriate level with ice cubes, crushed ice and/or cold water, allowing room for the bag to conform around the body.
Expel excess air from the bag and screw the cap back on securely to prevent leakage.
Insert the head of the filled ice bag through the central hole in the neoprene wrap.
Position the ice bag over the injured or painful area (e.g. knee, ankle, thigh, shoulder) with the wrap against the skin or over a thin layer of clothing as required.
Wrap the neoprene strap around the body part and secure using the Velcro attachments, adjusting the tension to achieve comfortable compression without restricting circulation.
Apply cold therapy for a short period (typically up to around 20 minutes at a time) or as advised by a healthcare professional, then remove and allow the skin to return to normal temperature between applications.
After use, empty the ice bag, allow both bag and wrap to dry thoroughly and store in a cool, dry place.
