Powder-free non-sterile medical examination gloves

Description

Aurelia Robust Plus Blue Nitrile examination gloves are premium-quality, powder-free, non-sterile disposable gloves designed to provide greater tensile strength, durability and protection than both latex and vinyl alternatives. Made from 100% nitrile and free from natural rubber latex, they offer excellent barrier protection, chemical resistance and enhanced comfort with a longer 290 mm beaded cuff for extended wrist and forearm coverage. The finger-textured finish improves grip in both wet and dry conditions, making them suitable for a wide range of medical, dental, laboratory, aesthetic and general clinical applications.

Usage

Select the correct glove size (Small) for the user’s hand; using the correct size helps maintain comfort and reduces risk of tearing.
Ensure hands are clean and dry before donning. Remove jewellery that may puncture the gloves.
Take a glove by the cuff and insert the hand, easing the glove over the fingers and palm; repeat for the other hand.
Check for visible defects such as tears, holes or discolouration before use; discard any damaged gloves.
Use the gloves for single-use examination, procedure or task as appropriate, following local infection prevention and control guidelines.
Avoid contact with chemicals or substances that exceed the glove’s tested resistance; consult the manufacturer’s chemical resistance data where necessary.
After use, grasp the outside of one glove at the wrist, peel it off turning it inside out, and hold it in the gloved hand. Slide an ungloved finger under the wrist of the remaining glove, peel off over the first glove and discard both in an appropriate clinical or general waste container according to local policy.
Perform hand hygiene immediately after glove removal.
Do not wash, sanitise, reprocess or reuse these gloves.

Contraindications

Do not use if the box or inner packaging is damaged, wet or opened in a way that may compromise product integrity.
Not suitable for individuals with known hypersensitivity to nitrile or specific chemical accelerators used in nitrile gloves; such users should follow occupational health guidance.
Not intended for use as a sterile surgical glove; do not use where sterile gloves are specifically required.
Do not use for prolonged contact with aggressive chemicals that exceed the glove’s tested permeation and degradation limits.

Adverse Effects

Possible skin irritation, dryness or occlusive discomfort during prolonged wear.
Rare allergic or sensitisation reactions to nitrile components or chemical accelerators (contact dermatitis or hypersensitivity).

Storage Conditions

Store in a cool, dry place, ideally at temperatures between approximately 5°C and 25°C, away from direct sunlight, heat sources and fluorescent lighting where possible.
Keep in the original packaging until use to protect from dust, moisture and contamination.
Avoid storage near ozone-generating equipment or strong solvents which may degrade rubber materials.
Do not store heavy items on top of glove boxes to prevent compression and potential damage.
Observe expiry dates printed on the packaging and use stock in a first-expiry-first-out (FEFO) rotation.

Duration

Used for the duration of a single clinical or procedural task and then disposed of; not a therapeutic treatment product.
